The musical genre Trap was born in Atlanta in the 90s. But in our country it did not rise until just 3 years ago. The digital platforms have played an important role in the birth of a new culture called “TRAP” that next to a street aesthetics has used the video to create their own codes.

We invite you to attend a professional panel where they will discuss the keys to understand the success of this movement called trap.

For this we have the chance to see several professional in different areas that create this new culture.

ramon vevo

Ramón Pascual (Head of Spain at VEVO)

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona and in Advertising and Public Relations by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, currently Head of Spain of the music video platform Vevo, keeping relations with key partners, select and promote the content most suited to the audience, create original content and generate actions to increase awareness and knowledge of Vevo in Spain. Previously, he worked for 4 years in the music video platform Passionate about digital entertainment content in general and of this exciting sector in constant evolution.


Kokos Ackee (Productor audiovisual)

Kokos Ackee is a young director of the Barcelona Polygon Canyelles that with his “guerrilla” techniques is breaking schemes in the audiovisual world. His agile style and formidable production has defined the aesthetics trap of here, and have even had the international figures of the genre, such as the American Waka Flocka. This director has been able to filmed more than half a hundred music videos in a year


Alicia Álvarez Vaquero (Journalist Researcher)

Dr. in Audiovisual Narrative and music journalist. She works as a professor of the subject Aesthetics and Mass Communication at the Faculty of Communication Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University) where she is also a member of the research group Culture and Audiovisual. Since 2012 she has worked as a collaborator of media such as Concepto Radio, DJ Mag, Playground, Broadly – Vice, Tentaciones, El País or Beatburguer (web of which she was editor-in-chief during the year 2015).  In 2014 she co-directed the documentary “BCN, label?”, premiered at the In-Edit of that same year.

 Damed Squad (Artista)

If in USA they have a Lil Yachty in Spain we have Damed Squad. The group formed by Enry-K (producer), Lil Moss and Mishii has become the trident with more international projection of the national panorama the trap music. Youtube has spoken; 2017 is their year and Damed Squad already creates its own sound environment to the new codes of the american trap more experimental made in Atlanta.

With this pretext, their impact has made them climb exponentially. Collaborations with Yung Beef, Cecilio G, or Kidd Keo. On 2017 they have already filled Razzmatazz and Daba Daba, to the media they have not gone unnoticed, and experts in avant-garde music already filled pages talking about the magnetism of the latest gem of the effervescent catalan trap scene.
