Alfonso Albacete is a film director and screenwriter. His filmography has titles such as: Más que amor, frenesí; Atómica; Sobreviviré; I Love You Baby; Entre vivir y soñar; Mentiras y gordas y Solo química. His films have traveled to festivals such as Sundance, San Sebastián, Tokyo and Havana, Reaping numerous awards, among which are worth mentioning: Turin Film Festival Prize, Chicago Film Festival Audience Award, Prize Shanghai for best film, Population Institute Award (Best Media Award) and the Youth Prize Festival Mix Mexico. He has also been nominated for the Goya twice and has written scripts alongside Lucía Etxebarría and Ángeles González-Sinde.
In addition to becoming commercial successes, some of his films have marked more than one generation of young people (and not so young), being also important to understand the visibility of the LGTB collective, as it brings issues to the commercial cinema and the public before only for under. Movie lover, he is a great director of actresses and actors.
He has just released his first novel titled TODO SE MUEVE and is preparing a new movie.
