Ferran Palau has been co-leader of the Anímic for the past 16 years, but in 2012 has the urge to release his debut solo album “L’Aigua del Rierol”. It wasn’t until his second album “Santa Ferida” (Halley Records, 2016) that he won the attention of the press and his intimate most intimate thoughts, co-produced with friend and cousin Jordi Matas, took the artist to win the Premi Enderrock 2017 and appear on the main lists of best album of the year. In early 2018 Palau released “Blanc” (Halley Records) confirming his career with both critique and audience. That same year the Barcelona based won the Premi Altaveu 2018, the Premi Núvol, The Timeout Barcelona 2018 award as best artist and was announced best album of the year for the renowned music magazine Mondosonoro. Ferran, also known as the Catalan version of Sufjan Stevens or Cass McCombs now presents “Kevin” (Hidden Track Records, octobre 2019), an album the artist calls ‘easy-loving’, an ode to love and where his fine and elegant voice and synths take you to his most profound imaginary.
